We are committed to supporting people to find employment, providing a wide range of courses to help give people the skills to get a job, get a better job, go on to further learning or simply improve their life.

To date, we've helped more than 500,000 people gain a recognised qualification and 93% of our learners say learning with us has given them the skills to help them in their future working lives. Moreover, 26% of our learners see a tangible career progression. This includes finding employment, returning to work, getting a better job, a promotion or an improved salary.

From maths, English and IT to other vocational qualifications, online courses mean learners can log on and learn wherever suits them best. Whether they learn in one of our centres or online from home, work or wherever they have access to the internet, there’s tutor support available every step of the way. 

We also offer a range of employability courses which are ideal for individuals who are looking for work or considering a career change. From writing a CV which makes them stand out from the crowd to making a great first impression at interviews, individuals learn practical new skills to help them find and secure employment. We also provide a range of courses around key work skills such as team working, time management and problem solving.

We also provide high-quality online training services to employers, to improve employee skills and improve business performance and profitability. Using cost-effective learning, training is designed to fit around business priorities.
In some parts of the country we also offer apprenticeships in subjects such as business administration, customer service and health and social care. These allow people to gain recognised qualifications as well as practical workplace experience which help them succeed in their chosen career. So far, we’ve helped 1200 people improve their job prospects through starting an apprenticeship.
