Everyday English Skills – Writing
About the course
Do you find writing hard? Everyday tasks like filling in forms or writing notes can be tough if your writing skills aren't up to scratch. This course will help you to learn the skills you need to write everyday words and sentences.
Best of all, this course is available to suit different levels of ability. So whether you'd like to learn the very basics or just develop the skills you already have, our friendly staff will help you to work out what level you're at and point you in the right direction.
You might want to learn how to spell common English word and when to use basic grammar like capital letters and full stops. Or maybe you'd like to learn how to check for errors in your work and use the right words and sentences for a certain audience.
Whatever you're struggling with, doing our practise questions and getting plenty of feedback and help will check that you’ve understood the learning.
By completing this course you’ll be working towards our Certificate in Adult Literacy. This nationally recognised qualification is similar to a GCSE, and will show employers that you have the English skills they're looking for. It'll really boost your CV, and could help you get ahead at work.
