Nominate Someone for a learndirect Achievement Award

learndirect is committed to recognising the outstanding learning achievements of people like you. That’s why the learndirect Achievement Awards, now in their fourth year, have been created.  They celebrate the achievements of our learners, the businesses we work with and the staff and learndirect centres supporting them.

So if you know someone who has improved their life through learndirect learning, a business which has thrived by training their employees through learndirect or a learndirect centre or staff member offering exceptional support to learners, nominate them for an Achievement Award today.

Eamonn Holmes and his wife, Ruth Langsford presented the Awards at the 2009 National Awards Ceremony:

Eamonn and Ruth said:

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford"We are both delighted to support the learndirect Achievement Awards which recognise individuals and businesses who rise to the challenge of developing new skills,as well as the people and centres that support them. We have worked with learndirect in the past to highlight the benefits of learning, so have seen first-hand the positive impact that learning can have on adults around the country: it really can be life-changing. So please, make a nomination.”

Kyran Bracken – ex-England Rugby World Cup winner and Dancing on Ice champion urges people to get their skates on and nominate someone for a learndirect Achievement Award.

Kyran Bracken"I am proud to support the learndirect Achievement Awards because I know how important it is to boost your skills and potential. Developing new skills takes hard work and perseverance, but the benefits are always worth the extra effort. I’ve got first-hand experience of this having trained hard to be part of the Rugby World Cup-winning team and then re-training in the field of ice-skating to be crowned Dancing on Ice champion.

“The learndirect Achievement Awards celebrate learners and businesses who are going that extra mile to develop skills, as well as the people and centres supporting them. I would urge people to nominate someone who really deserves to be recognised before nominations close on 26 March."
