Why get a certificate in basic food safety and hygiene?

If your job or business involves working with food, you might want to know that there’s no legal requirement for people handling food at work to have a ‘certificate’, but there is a legal requirement for them to be ‘appropriately trained’. An environmental health inspector may require you to demonstrate this, so a ‘properly’ endorsed certificate from a Level 2 course will give you peace of mind. With our Food Safety course, you’ll learn all about relevant topics like hygiene, bacteria, food poisoning and contamination, ensuring that you’re properly trained.
