Christopher Millington-Lee, a Performing Arts student at Farnborough College of Technology had a pleasant surprise when he decided to sign on for some learndirect courses at his college.
Staff were waiting to welcome the 500th learner at the centre with a bottle of champagne!
Christopher has returned to study after eight years at work. By his own admission he hated school and left without any qualifications. At the age of 23 he decided to enrol on a two year performing arts course at college and hopes to move on to study drama at University. He is also interested in joining the Territorial Army as an officer.
With this in mind he has enrolled on two courses at the learndirect centre to help improve his maths and English skills.
