A third of office workers have considered quitting their jobs because of an annoying workmate, new research has revealed.
A study of 1,500 people by the recruitment firm, Office Angels, showed that behaviour such as swearing at computers and not making the tea, leaves white-collar workers fuming.
Listening to voicemails on speakerphone and sending emails to colleagues a few feet away were also identified as pet hates.
"It sometimes feels like we spend more time with our colleagues than we do with our friends and families," said Paul Jacobs, managing director of Office Angels.
"The smallest habits can irritate and cause discord in the office."
