• The second section shows you how to create a basic PowerPoint presentation, and covers using templates creating a basic presentation working with text and text boxes, inserting and modifying WordArt, inserting and formatting a table, working with custom animation and organising slides into sections.
• The third section is about working with images, illustrations, and media, showing you more about inserting and modifying pictures, shapes, SmartArt graphics and charts, and adding video clips, images and illustrations.
• The fourth sections helps you to finalise and deliver a presentation, from running spell check, sending a slide show for review, working with comments to saving a your presentation and preparing it for delivery.

Intermediate Skills in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010

This Intermediate course has two sections.

• The first section is about working with text boxes, tables, and multimedia, where you'll learn about drawing and formatting a table, modifying pictures, charts and SmartArt diagrams, working with videos and creating a multimedia-rich presentation.
• The second sections further explores finalising and delivering a presentation, by modifying colour and font schemes, filling backgrounds, setting headers and footers.

Advanced Skills in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010

This Advanced course contains three sections.

• The first section covers customising the PowerPoint 2010 user interface and elements, by changing the default options in PowerPoint 2010, customising the quick access toolbar and the Ribbon, creating and customising a slide master, and creating themes and new layouts.
• The second section is about adding information, multimedia, and animation enhancements - from incorporating existing content and working with clip art, images, and illustrations through to editing a video, assigning action settings to content, and working with multimedia.
• The third section helps you with finalising and delivering a presentation, showing you how to save and print a slide show, set the slide show options, create a custom slide show, broadcast a slide show, collaborate by using PowerPoint 2010 and record a presentation.

• Microsoft’s official PowerPoint 2010 Study Guide (PDF): The PowerPoint 2010 MOS Study Guide is the companion to the courseware and provides instant access to the exam reference material and step by step task instructions. The Study Guide is provided as a PDF file for access via your PC.
• Practice exams: To maximize your success, access to practice exams is provided (with either feedback mode or simulation mode). The practice exams are delivered through a dedicated website which closely mirrors the actual exam experience.
• Exam Voucher: Your exam voucher (worth £65) entitles you to sit your MOS exam at an accredited test centre.

¹An additional £15 invigilation fee is payable directly to the exam centre when you sit the test.

You'll access the MOS e-learning courses and study guide via their eCourses “my courses” page. The instructions to access the practice exams, requiring registration on a separate website, are provided with the exam voucher in an email following your purchase.

Access to the resources is provided for 12 months from date of purchase.

To book your exam, simply contact your nearest test centre. You need to sit your exam within 12 months of purchase, so please allow time to book your exam before your voucher expires.
